What is the vision for ETIQUETT?

How do you at ETIQUETT come up with new ideas and designs for upcoming collections?
We follow trends closely, both at home and abroad. What we see on the catwalk, but also what happens on the street, we take with us in our inspiration. At the same time, we want everything we make to remain wearable. It has to fit in everyday life.
Each collection is created together with a small team that shares the same passion and vision. We build collections around strong basics, but always add statement styles. Items that may not be sold en masse, but that we still want to show. Because that is also what ETIQUETT stands for: daring to stand out and staying true to who you are.
Where and by whom are the jeans currently produced?
We produce our jeans in Turkey, where we have assembled a team of specialists. Each of them is highly skilled in their own field and has a lot of knowledge. We pay attention to several important details; such as stitching distances, the finishing of the hem on the inside and the most important: the washes.
Why is a wash such an important part of jeans?
A wash on jeans is like a character. It lives and gives jeans depth. Denim can be woven in different ways and that affects the look. The same wash will look completely different on a different fabric, which is why every combination is unique. The wash is applied by hand and must look natural. It is a special process for which we have developed our own standard.
How does ETIQUETT guarantee the quality of its jeans?
We select fabrics that meet our own criteria. We pay attention to the appearance of the fabric, the material composition and the recovery degree. This varies per style and per wash and we are very careful about that. Thanks to our strict quality control, where every pair of jeans is checked for even the smallest errors, we can deliver a premium product.
What do you think are the elements that distinguish ETIQUETT from other jeans labels?
From day one, we work with a large selection of different materials. You don't see this with many other brands anymore, because it is simply too expensive. On top of that, we offer a wide range of washes. We love variation and we find those washes essential for jeans. We have an eye for detail and accents. When it comes to washes, ETIQUETT makes the most beautiful ones on the market. We also understand that good service and flexibility are essential these days. Customers can see us as a partner, someone you can really work with.
Where does ETIQUETT want to go in the coming years?
Jeans will always remain the foundation of the brand, but we are expanding with related items that strengthen our collections. Such as high-quality basics that are easy to combine.
We want to be represented at more and more selected retailers in the Netherlands and build strong partnerships. In addition, we continue to expand in Germany and Switzerland, where ETIQUETT is already available at various stores.
