You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time by sending a message to info@etiquett-essentials.com or via a link included in the newsletter for this purpose. After unsubscribing, we will delete your email address unless you have expressly consented to further use of your data or we reserve the right to use your data further in a manner permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement.
SMS MARKETING
When you sign up for our SMS marketing services, for example through registration on our website or during the checkout process, you consent to receiving marketing messages from us on the phone number you have provided. These messages may include information about products, promotions, discounts or updates.
Use of data:
Your phone number and, where applicable, information about your purchases and interactions are used to send you relevant and personalised messages. For this purpose, we use Klaviyo, a trusted marketing service provider that acts in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Klaviyo processes your data solely on our behalf.
Unsubscribe:
You can unsubscribe from SMS marketing at any time by replying “STOP” to one of our messages. You will then no longer receive SMS communications from us.
Sharing of data:
We do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Your information is used solely for the provision of our services and communications.
SPECIAL AND/OR SENSITIVE PERSONAL DATA WE PROCESS
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are under the age of 16, unless they have permission from a parent or guardian. However, we cannot verify whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in the online activities of their children in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. HOW LONG WE RETAIN PERSONAL DATA
ETIQUETT will not retain your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following categories of personal data:
Order information
We retain your order information and the related personal data for 5 years. This is in line with legal requirements and necessary for tax purposes.
Customer service enquiries
We retain your data relating to a customer enquiry for as long as necessary to resolve your question or complaint. The correspondence will be deleted after a maximum of 2 years.
SHARING PERSONAL DATA WITH THIRD PARTIES
ETIQUETT does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if this is necessary for the performance of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We conclude data processing agreements with companies that process your data on our behalf in order to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. ETIQUETT remains responsible for these processing activities.

This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we hold about you in a computer file to you or to another organisation named by you.
You can send a request to access, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to info@etiquett-essentials.com. To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your proof of identity with the request. In this copy, please black out your passport photo, MRZ (machine readable zone, the strip of numbers at the bottom of the passport), passport number and citizen service number (BSN). This is to protect your privacy. We will respond to your request as quickly as possible, but within four weeks. ETIQUETT would also like to point out that you have the option to lodge a complaint with the national supervisory authority, the Dutch Data Protection Authority.
